The National Renaissance Movement is an independent Syrian national entity, born from the suffering and sacrifices of the Syrian people, and includes a select group of revolutionary activists, human rights defenders, politicians, intellectuals, and all Syrian citizens who have not been involved with the oppressive regime or with any forces that exploited the revolution for personal or factional gains.
The Movement strives to achieve transitional justice, vindicate the victims, protect the Syrian revolution from manipulation, hijacking, or counter-revolutionary attempts, and work towards building the modern Syrian state based on the foundations of national belonging, justice, and human dignity.
It believes that true national renaissance begins by rebuilding the Syrian human being — intellectually, socially, and psychologically — enabling him to participate effectively in the reconstruction of Syria and restoring its historical Arab and humanitarian role as a center for civilization and freedom.
